Hi there,

How do I get my messages I have in Outlook 2003 imported into Outlook 2002?
I have exported them as Comma Seperated Values (Windows) but there are no
dates to indicate when the mail was sent to me.

I will really appreciate any help about this.
Thak you.

You would never import Outlook data unless you want to lose or alter it in
some way.
All Outlook data resides in one file with a PST extension. Since you want to
back down a version, you will first have to create an Outlook data file in
Outlook 2003 that is compatible with older versions ("97-2002"). Then copy
the messages into that file and open it in Outlook 2002.
Fine > New > Outlook Data file...

Thank you for your reply. I have created the new Data File. How do I put
my old 2003 messages in this new data file?

Thank you so long.

Select each folder (one at a time) and then click Edit>Copy. Specify the
root of the new PST you created as the destination.

Keep in mind that whenever you copy a PST with Windows, Outlook should be
closed.

Brian, I think I am getting some direction here.
When selecting the folder, as per your suggestion, how can it be closed
(I know I sound stupid ;) )

I never said you could close a folder. I said when all the copying is done
to close the entire PST. Right-click its root and choose Close.
