XPE configuration after FBA

Hi,
I'm trying the first "experiments" with XPE and after some tries I came to
the following situation, I was wondering if it is feasible.
My target is a standard PC with one HD and some other "custom" hardware
devices, my goal is to protect the boot partition using EWF but being able
to complete the pc installation with XPE after the FBA had run and the pc
booted for the first time (actually the second considering the first boot
the FBA boot).
Since I found too diffcult (and time consuming) to embed drivers which are
not natively supported by XPE, I would need to change the graphic card
drivers and to install some other drivers and application.
After the installation of these I would need to commit all the changes to
the boot partition to let the pc start with all latest modifications and at
the same time to protect the boot partition against corruption due to power
loss (users will simply switch off the pc instead of shutting it down ... i
know it for shure).

Is this a possible scenario or am I missing something ?
Thanks
Francesco

yes this is perfectly reasonable, and is very similar to the approach
for preparing to run from CD. Make sure that you include EWF
components in your build, but ensure that the setting is not to have
EWF enabled (this is not the default).
When FBA has run, you can install any additional drivers, applications
and performa any system tweaks and adjustments until you are happy with
the way your system is working.
Then run cmd.exe (to get a DOS window) and run 'ewfmgr C: -enable'
Now reboot and the system will run with the C: drive protected by EWF.
