I have a few development VIA M10000 motherboards and have been moving my
hard drive from system to sytem for building different xpe images. Each time
I move the harddrive XP requests that I activate again. I've done this a
few times and now the activation/licience code is going to expire... Arg...
Any thoughts on how to get my activativation code to work?

Sisyphus was a cool man :)

What do you think how many times you can move your HDD before damaging its
connector?

Try following:

On target device.
1. Install network card (or firewire link)
2. Install XP on partition with size of 2 GB it should be more than enough.
3. Make network connection to your development machine.
4. Create partitions with appropriate sizes for all your different images
that you will build.
5. Format them with FAT or NTFS it is up to you. (FAT is better for this
purpose)
6. Share all partitions on network.
7. Map all remote partitions on your development machine.
8. Modify boot.ini on your device to contain all ARC names to all OS-es with
appropriate labeling to distinguish them.
9. Find in this NG my recent post how to assign drive letters from TD, and
use it to assign appropriate partition for all XPE's to use C:.
10. Run Windows XP on device
11. Build some XPE image directly to appropriate network drive.
12. Restart device and choose XPE build that you want.
13. Have fun :)

If you need more info just ask.

Best regards,
Slobodan
