XP WPA options not seen

I have a Linksys WUSB11 v2.8, which, according to Linksys,
supports WPA security "out of the box". I have Win XP
Home, with the WPA update installed. No matter what I do,
I can't get any WPA security options to show up on the
wireless configuration screen. I see NONE and WEP, but no
WPA. I am using the latest Linksys drivers. Linksys blames
Windows for not giving me the option, but I have read that
Windows won't display the option if it doesn't detect that
the wireless adapter supports WPA. Has anyone else seen
this problem?? Any suggestions as to what I can try to
resolve it and get WPA working?? TIA.

I have seen some postings elsewhere that the Linksys
WUSB11 is NOT compatible with WPA, despite what Linksys
says. Maybe there's someone here that is actually using
one of these that has WPA working that can comment...
