XP workstation password reset w/o rebooting

I have a Win XP build that has the switch user option disabled. A user locked
the machine and forgot their password. Their password was reset, but they had
to re-boot the workstation for the new password to take effect. Is there a
way to have the password reset and not require the user to reboot as there
might be some unsaved work on their workstation.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Not that I know of, no. This is a good lesson for people to a) remember
their passwords and b) never ever leave a computer alone with unsaved files
sitting there waiting for disaster to strike.
