XP wont recognize removable media /devices

My boss ugraded to XP from ME. Since the upgrade xp refuses to recognize his
IPOD and Digital camera. Prior to the upgrade the camera was accessed by way
of my computer and then there was a drive there called removable storage,
there isnt one of these on XP.

All of the drivers are current for these devices, the camera connects thru
USB port and the IPOD thru an IEEE port. Also all the serivce packs and
updates for XP have been installed. Both devices work fine on other computers
which are all WIN2000 professional. (he is the only one with XP in the office
so I cant tell if it is strickly an XP poblem)

Neither of us are familar as familar with XP as we were with older versions
of windows and any suggestions or perhaps a point in the right direction
would be so helpful!

If this is a redunt post or even a question that causes you to roll your
eyes :p i apologize

Thanks again for any help

You need to reinstall your iPod and camera on your computer. The ME drivers
weren't guaranteed to work after you upgraded to XP. Windows XP setup should
have warned you this might happen before you upgraded.
