XP Wont Give Me The Driver I Want!

I'm using a Yahama YMF-724 PCI Sound Card and the drivers for XP wont load
for it

I installed the DS-XG driver Yahama provides on their site but I've noticed
that Yahamas drivers dont seems to support the Game/MIDI port for some
reason and I really need that port to work because I have a MIDI keyboard
hooked up to it.

I've tried to go back to the XP driver but it cant find the thing. I've
pointed it to the Windows folder and the XP CD but every time I do, it can't
find the XP driver, and just insists I use the driver from Yamaha.

Anyone know where the driver is. Its one XP gives it by default but I cant
seem to find it.
Also, I've tried to do system restore but it doesnt seem to work for some
reason, dont ask me why.

Yes I have, that is the same place where I got the DS-XG driver that doesnt
have the Game/MIDI support I need.
