Trend Micro's PC-Cillin keeps telling me that my XP system has three "Very High
Risk Level" vulnerabilities:

MS04-033
MS05-023
MS05-035

I *think* these numbers refer to something in the MS scheme of things, but I've
got AutoUpdate in effect and there don't seem tb any unapplied patches that
refer to these items.

Only big patch that's not applied is the Office one. I've tried downloading
that one three times, but the install failed each time.

Any chance the abovementioned vulnerabilities are addressed by the MS Office
patch?

You could download Microsoft's Baseline Security Analyser (search their
site for "MBSA" and run that. It will tell you if you are missing any
patches for Windows and Office.

If you're having problems installing an Office patch you could try using
the "Repair" feature in the Add/Remove Programs entry, or uninstall it and
start again from scratch (the latter of which, unfortunately, seems to work
more often).

Also as Duane mentioned, you could do a web search for those vulnerability
numbers; they are indeed Microsoft references.
