I have 4 HDD's___ C:/ drive carries the XP sys files___how do I use one of
my other HDD's to install Vista and have the choice of which OS at
bootup___I do not want to partition my sys drive

What I do is to use the Bios. I have WinXP installed on HDD0 and
WinVista on HDD1. Just set which one you want to
boot from in the Bios.

Assuming you have a full Retail version, not an Upgrade or OEM version, Boot
from the DVD and tell it which drive letter you want to install it on. Do
NOT choose upgrade.

I have used Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM input as it also has a windows boot
manager and you don't need to touch the BIOS____thanks to all ____With Kind
