First, make sure your antivirus software is up to date and run a scan of
your system. Second, make sure your system is free of any malware,
download, install and run Ad Aware. If your system is clear of viruses and
malware, place the XP CD in the drive, when the setup screen appears, select
"Check System Compatibility" as it may find problem software or hardware on
your setup that might be the source of the issue.
