Hi there,
How can I remove XP security patches(in case one causes a problem) and
where do they show up since they are not in Add/Remove programs?
Thanks a lot, Calin

They are listed in Add/Remove programs. You need to put a check
mark in the box next to"Show Updates" at the top of the window.
Scroll down towards the bottom and you should see them listed
under "Windows XP - Software Updates".

They can also be uninstalled manually by running spuninst.exe
within the appropriate
C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallKBXXXXXX$\spuninst folder.

Good luck

Hi,

They are not listed by default in Add/Remove Programs. At the top of the
Add/Remove Programs window is a tick box called "Show Update" ticking this
should show you the updates\security patches that have been installed.
