xp to tv

Hi, does anyone know how to hook xp to tv.?

I've tried various ways:
went to display properties then clicked setting look for a secondary
display "icon" to click, but there isn't any.
then click advanced and look for a display tab. there's none _ tabs
displayed are: general, adapter, monitor, trouble shoot, color
management.
Tried to install a secondary device to display adapter. Not sure how
to go about it. Installed it a few times but it didn't work. code 10
error .
It worked with windows 2000 so It's not the video card.
I'm pretty sure the problem would be solved by installing a proper
secondary device to the display
adapter correctly.
I have an xp installation disk _ don't know how to use it

firstly. install the correct drivers for your video card, don't use the
ones supplied by microsoft.
