XP theme changing from Classic to XP by itself ?

Last couple of reboots, my "theme" which is always Windows classic, has
fired up with a darker blue taskbar, and Windows explorer screens which all
look like "XP theme,"

....any idea what I can tweak or repair to make the "Windows Classic" theme
stick.

.....just rediscovered that I had the same problem 18th Oct. 2007, and "Three
Chicago wolf" told me how to fix it :-

....disable themes in XP services, repair install, backalong, responsible for
switching it back on ?
