Dear all MVP, VP and Newbie,
I found that my DVD/CDRW Combo is very well in DOS and WinXP SAFE MODE.
I successfully installed WinXP at clean mode with bootable CD.
As I have 2 ghost recovery CD's and WinXP installation CD, I found that all
they are readable in DOS booted mode and Win Safe mode.
Device manager in control panel is quite normal and I don't have any
suspicious program installed on this machine.
For your ref, I disassembled and cleaned lens with fresh water but I don't
that it is related to this trouble.
Do you have any idea?

Hello, all.
My notebook Fujitsu E4010(P4 1.4G, 60G HDD, 512Mram) stopped reading any CD
in Windows XP. All CD's displayed like blank CD's and shows F: drive only.
Neverthless, this computor can read bootable CD to make DOS booting and has
no problem in reading CD's in DOS operation(DOS booted).
Can anybody help this situation, please?
