Hi,
This question has been asked a 1000 times, so I will be brief.
I'm using putty (SSH) to tunnel past my firewall to my windows machine
at home.
How come the XP RDP client wont let you connect to localhost ?
Or how come it bypasses the loopback device or whatever it is doing ?
I get the "you cant connect .... you are already connected to the
local console, silly" message.
I can get this to work by either using the old client, or simply
running the XP client in compatibility mode ... however, it then
doesnt go fullscreen and look all cool like the new client does.
And I cant do ctrl-alt-del, and work all the hot keys (like alt-tab).
I know I'm being kind of picky but it would be cool to get the NEW
XP client to work with all the bells and whistles.
cheers,
e
