I recently downloaded SP2 and wish I hadn't. The new
interface for network connections has some reliability
problems. Windows connects me to my WEP-enabled Linksys
router automatically, but the wireless network connection
icon in the system tray always has the red "disconnected"
x on it -- even when I'm surfing the web without a
problem (e.g., it shows the x right now). What's worse is
that it randomly drops the connection at times, then I
have to manually reconnect to the wireless network to get
back online. I've turned off the XP firewall to make sure
that is not the issue, but the situation persists. I had
no problems of this sort before SP2. Is this a known bug?
