XP SP2 Sound Problem

I installed Xp SP2 about a month ago and ever since, I've
hand sound issues. When ever I play a song/movie/game
moderately loud, I hear static. It's never done that
under SP1. I have all the updates for Xp and my Sound
Blaster Audigy Z2. All help will be appreciated. Thanks

I've been haveing sound problems since installing SP2 as well with Audigy
card. While playing games such as Everquest occasionaly my pc freezes and the
speakers start makeing Bzt Bzzt noise as if it is a loop. I have to hard boot
my pc to restart.

Question: I have noticed that I have both the Legacy audio drivers and
codecs as well as the Audigy ZS. Should I uninstall the Legacy drivers?
