Hi All,
I have 7 XP Pro SP1 machines logging on to a Win2K/AD domain . When I start
the XP computers I'm getting the following errors in the event viewer:
Event ID: 5719
Source: NETLOGON
No Domain Controller is available for domain MYDOMAIN due to the following:
There are currently no logon server available to service the logon request.
Event ID: 1054
Source: Userenv
Windows cannot obtain domain controller name for your computer network (The
specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted). Group
Policy processing aborted.
The machines do connect to the network and could access all network
resources but I do notice slow performance. My other 50 Win2K Pro machines
are fine. I have found some articles in the MS KB about DNS but to no avail.
Any suggestions?
TIA
