XP Remote Desktop help

HI,

I have a laptop running XP Media and a computer running XP Home. I wish to
be able to use remote desktop so that I can easily view files on one or the
other. By running remote desktop on my computer I can successfully connect to
my laptop (via wireless), however when I try from my laptop to my computer it
fails to connect. I have discovered that the reason of this may be because of
some settings that are not correct. I found that in order to allow a remote
computer to connect to the current computer (e.g. the one I am on now) I need
to "allow users to connect remotely to this computer". In my 'System
Properties' on my laptop under the 'Remote' tab I have the option to "allow
users to connect remotely to this computer" via a 'check box', however when I
try this on my computer there is no check box to "allow users to connect
remotely to this computer", it is not there and I am guessing that this is
the reason I cannot connect remotely to my computer.

Can anyone help me, is there anyway that I can get this option to appear?

XP Home edition can *NOT* act as a Remote Desktop host by design. You can
use an alternative like UltraVNC with its encryption plug-in as an
alternative.

UltraVNC support forums...

Otherwise you can upgrade to XP Pro or Vista Ultimate/Business editions and
get Remote Desktop host functionality...
