XP professional upgrade to Vista home premium

I am running Windows XP professional and would like to upgrade Vista home
premium. Can I buy and install the upgrade Vista home premium with a clean
install or do I have to buy the full version as Vista business is not needed.

Athlon 3800 64x2 dual core
1 gig of RAM
windows XP professional
retail version licensed

Mike, check out this Sticky post on the AumHa Forum
(http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?t=23994 ); Shows Only XP Home and Media
Center can "Upgrade" to Vista Premium; The Robear Dyer link below the Matrix
may help, too. Other XP's and 2000 Require Clean Install which Cannot be done
with AN Upgrade DVD. Do the Vista Get Ready exercise for Hardware/Apps
Compatibility and Check if Upgrades are DVD only.Have read so much I get
confused. Good luck.
