Xp Professional trouble with boot.ini erase

I installed XP Professional on my computer. It had XP Home Edition on it, but when it booted up after install it says: "invalid boot.ini file" starting from c:\windows. The XP Home Edition will not boot anymore, even though I made XP Professional seperate
Does anyone know how to get back my XP Home Edition
System restore or recovery will not work. My files are still on HP Home Edition
