Hi,

I've got a bit of a puzzle here ! We have 3 PC's in our remote office
that can VPN into our Main Office (SBS 2003 Server)

Two of the PC's work fine, you can connect by \\Servername\ etc so no
problems there....

The third one (which happens to be mine ! ) will connect but it cannot
access anything on the remote network, all I can do is ping the
external interface of the SBS 2003, I cant ping any other servers or
see anything.

I have checked the settings and I cant see any problems, all the PC's
are set up the same and they all have the same firewall settings
received from Group Policys.

All my IP config's look fine aswell ??

Anybody got any ideas?

Ian

What do you receive if you using net view \\servername? Also posting the result of ipconfig /all on the vpn client may help.

Assuming you receive system error 53 when using net view \\servername, you have a name resolution issue. Ii think this may be the problem: Primary Dns Suffix . . . . . . . : NorcottTechnologies.local. Can you ping the server by FQDN?
