XP Pro Very Slow Login to Domain

3-4 minutes to login to Domain. Server is 2003 SBS not running DHCP. Tried
fixed IP's same results as Auto IP.DNS is coming from Linksys router and I
think the client is trying to go to the server for authentication.

Is there a way to speed this up I also tried putting server ip and name in
LMHOST record. Same result.

Regardless of where the DNS setting is coming from, it needs to point to the
server, not out to an ISP.

Either configure the DHCP server on the router to issue the server's IP as
DNS, or shut down DHCP on the router and set it up on the server.
