XP Pro Upgrade incompatible with Server 2003

Have several PCs with XP Professional SP2 upgrade version (from Win
98SE) on a Server 2003 network. 2 third party applications won't work
properly. OEM and Retail XP Pro versions work fine. Machines are on a
domain. Issues vary - such as inability to logon (other than machine
administrator), no printers, etc, no launch of application, etc.

Is there a fix or workaround? Anyone heard of this problem? Thank you

You may need to get in touch with the application developer. I'd clean
install the machines.
