XP Pro unilateral softboot

About once a day my XP Pro reboots itself while I am running any one a number of common programs. When it roboots it gives a message that says the system has recovered from a serious error

This AM it would reboot and then go through a series of messages showing that it was going to shut down. Here is the technical information I copied
BCCode: d1 BCP1 00000010 BCP2: 00000002 BCP3: 00000000 BCP4: F9ABC15F OSVER: 5_1-2600 SP: 0_0 Product: 256-

C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini050304-02.dm
C:\Docume~\Steve\Locals~1\Temp\wer1.tmp.dir00/sysdata.xm

LSA Shell (Export Version) has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience

szAppName: Isass.exe szAppVer: 5.1.2600.0 szModName: unknown szModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0000000

C:\DOCUME~1\Steve\Locals~1\Temp\wer4.tmp.dir00\Isass.exe.mdm
C:DOCUME~1\Steve\Locals~1\Temp\wer4.tmp.dir00\Appcompat.tx

I solved the problem by resetting the system information to a prior date but would really like to find a solution. Anybody got a clue

Please reply via email.

Apparently, your PC has suffered a major security breech and is now
infected with malware (i.e. a viral worm) because:

1. The latest Windows XP Critical Updates have not been installed......
2. The PC's firewall has not been properly enabled.....
3. Out-of-date or no antivirus program has been installed......

Special note if you use AOL:

America Online installs its own connection settings that override
the ones that come with Windows XP. America Online's
connection settings don't include a way to turn on Windows XP's
built-in firewall.

Visit the following web site for instructions on downloading
a FREE firewall program for your computer.
