XP Pro to Home

I recently bought a laptop (Toshiba) with Microsoft Home Edition on it
and didn't receive the Home edition software along with the laptop. But
I have a Toshiba Application and Recovery CD. I then upgraded it to XP
pro. Is there a way to change it back to Home without the Home edition
software CD??

No, there is no downgrade path from Windows XP Pro to Windows XP Home.

You will need the CD.
A slight chance may be if the laptop has a hidden restore partition placed
by the laptop manufacturer during installation.
Check the manual and/or contact Toshiba for details.

Many newer computers use a hidden partition on the hard drive so the
computer can be restored to original.
The method of accessing differs by computer brand and model.
