xp pro remote desktop : restart w2k svr

i am at home on xp pro sp1

i have a vpn connection into a remote network.

i use successfully use xp pro remote desktop to connect and login to a w2k
advanced svr on that network.

can i restart that w2k svr? if so, is there any danger of afterwards not
being able to connect/login again to that w2k server ?

It should work fine. I do it all the time assuming the server actually reboots into a
working state where it would display the logon screen locally. Just be care not to
select "shutdown" by accident as I have occasionally. --- Steve
