I would recommend creating a new Windows XP CD
with SP2 slipstreamed in, then perform the upgrade.
You can use your current Windows XP Pro CD to
accomplish this.
Either one of the following utilities makes slipstreaming
(integrating) SP2 into Windows XP a breeze:
