XP Pro OEM

During install I got a message that one of the files didn't load- ntfs.sys I
think. Also I was never prompted for the Product Code. After rebooting I got
blue screen with stop error: 0x0000000A ( 0x00000001, 0x00000002, 0x00000001,
0x804ED680)
I was trying to install to a new hard drive. The old hard drive with XP Home
Ed. worked fine on this system.

Can anyone tell me if this is a bad CD or just what might be going on?

OEM versions of XP are supported by that OEM; whover that might be; not
Microsoft.

Problems during installation are usually down to;
Dirty / marked cd
Bad cd drive
Iffy memory
You did boot from the win cd, delete any partitions, create and install
didnt you?

Yes, I booted from the xp CD, which partitioned and formatted the new hard
drive.
