XP Pro Installation Issues

Bank Techie

My workplace has a PC with an OEM Version of Windows XP Installed.
Unfortunately, the software wasn't activated and somebody removed the sticker
with the key, so I purchased a new copy of XP Professional, Full Version,
SP2, in over to start fresh.

Because of the activation issue and lack of the key, we can not log in to
Windows at all on this machine. I want to install the new XP Pro and now
have the computer set to boot up with the CD Rom, but after Windows Setup
runs for a bit and loads drivers and says it is "starting windows" I receive
the following stop error:
0x00000007B (0xF78D2525, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

What should I do now? I would be completely happy to reformat and start
from scratch, but don't know where to start under these circumstances. Any
advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
