Xp Pro home networking problem

Jonathan

Hopefully, I have a standard XP networking issue. I have
two XP machines, desktop (wired) and laptop (wireless),
connected to a LAN via a router connected to DSL. Both
have unique names and the same workgroup name. They can
ping each other. Their icons show up in Network
Neighborhood. Sharing is turned on for files from both and
a printer from the desktop. Client for MS Networks is
checked for both. Both have guest accounts turned on.
Simple file sharing and firewalls are off. As stand-along
systems both work fine. Neither can access shared folders
on the other. The error message is "... is not
accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource..." How do I grant permissions? What is
wrong?
