Since last Wed I have been having problems with email, I use Windows live
mail and IE7. XP3
I cannot open the emails, in Windows Live Mail, it downloaded 1700 messages
which I knew was wrong, I went into Hotmail using my mail account there was a
triange warning there, could not open mail, could see headers. I go back to
window live mail only option to read mail is to click on the file .txt which
opens notepad to view a message, next to that is a file anything.html ? So I
am getting no views, I was on the phone with MSN spec tech they download 2
fixes which did not fix, I have emailed the windows live mail people, you
cannot talk to these people. So I cannot view mail messages in Windows Live
Mail, MSN mail, or Hotmail, I have lost 2 days of mail. Then yesterday I ran
the One care scan, found 257 registry errors, it fixed all but one. Ok, i
think mail is fixed now, No its not fixed, I uninstalled Lavasoft Adaware,
mail still does not work, I ran the MS malious remover, windows defender, and
the software viewer that shows what is running, nothing there, the MSN techs
had looked at task mgr. They could hear something is running constantly on
the computer. I called XP they are not there, I call the security people,
they will not help if i already ran one care it did not find anything and to
call XP in the morning, I have posted to Lavasoft Website, I have contacted
HP, they say its a virus, so I don't know what is wrong, but something is
running I can hear it, its like a scan is continoulsy going, and its at high
speed when I try to use MSN, IE7, or to open any mail program, the MSN techs
connected to my computer, they looked they say it in XP, so what could be
missing, I need help, I need my email, now I have to wait for email from
Windows Live mail, I have already answered their ?'s from their email,
(operating system, when it happened, did I do this and that etc?
I really was happy with OUtlook Express, but when I opened that one day it
said i had to upgrade to Windows Live mail, so ok i did that, all was working
well, now this happens about 8 mo Later?
I called the windows live people also, they said they were having problems I
think that was Sat and to call back in 3 hrs.
When I called MSN connected to India, they had static on phone lines, could
I call back, this is all one big mess, why no XP support at night? There are
some Americans who would like to work nighttime. Help
