I HAVE TWO COMPUTERS RUNNING WINDOWS XP HOME. ONE WIRED
AND ONE WIRELESS THROUGH A LINKSYS WIRELESS G-BROADBAND
ROUTER. BOTH COMPUTERS CAN SEE EACH OTHER IN NETWORK
PLACES BUT WHEN I TRY TO ACCESS ONE COMPUTER FROM THE
OTHER AND VICE VERSA I GET A MESSAGE SAYING: \\COMPUTER2
is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use this network resource. Contact the
administrator of this network to find out if you have
access permissions
Access is denied.
I have disabled the firewalls for both norton and winxp.
I have taken my wireless nick out of the loop and tried
to run both of them through a completely wired network. I
have even gone so far as to uninstall Norton internet
Security and Antivirus. And have run network setup
numerous times. Any insight to this can be of great help
