XP network bridge question

According to MS you can use the network bridge feature for connecting
wired and wireless nics in the pc. But i have only seen documentation on
setting up the bridge for wireless in ad-hoc mode. Will the bridge work
the other way around? When the wireless card only communicates with the
AP? I have that setup and its not working for me. I lose my internet
connection when I enable the bridge. Im beginning to think the bridge
wont work in infrastructure mode. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Ad-hoc vs. infrastructure makes no difference. The network bridge
should work for both.
