XP: minimized windows not showing on taskbar

I have created 4 users on my XP workstation. Since a week
or two I've noticed that the windows that I minimized are
not shown on the task bar as usual, you know,
the "Internet explorer", "Word" (etc) tabs on the
taskbar that you click on to switch between
applications... So whenever I want to switch between
applications I need to do the alt-tab shortcut key, which
is annoying!

I would think that his situation would never happern,
but...

What can I do get these windows to show again?

You may download and apply the following edit to fix this problem.

Programs arent minimized in the taskbar (line 240, left column)
