XP Media... No gaps/breaks between tracks?

I am considering going for a HTPC with XP Media. I have thousands of
concerts in wav. Many of the songs carry over from one track to the next
(with no break in the music).

Will Windows Media Player give me the ability to play these concerts without
any gaps between songs? As in where a full set would play completely
through with no silence? One song ends and the other begins (just like on a
CD).

Basically the difference CD-R's present with disc-at-once vs. track-at-once.
Thanks for any input...

As of WMP V9 there is the facility to reduce the gap to zero. The
setting is in the View, Enhancements, Crossfading settings - not
intuitively where I'd have expected to be, but it does allow you to
play segued tracks correctly (with no gap) :)
