XP Issues

I have 2 hard drives installed on my computer and each
each XP on them. I started with one, that got a virus,
and XP wouldn't work. i then removed it and bought
another hard drive and installed Xp on that. Now the
orignal hard drive has been reinstalled so so programs
and files can be removed from the old HD but it says i do
not enough access privialges to open the folders. What
can I do about this? i need those files and i dont' knwo
how to get them. you can email me at
