xp internet firewall

T

Todd

I cannot setup the firewall with Win XP using dial up AOL
7.0. When right clicking on the properties tab of my
internet connection, no additional window displays.

If I look at my pc, I right click on my internet
connection (cable modem) and my properties tab, the
firewall options come up. Both systems have win xp with
sp1.

Is this an AOL thing or a windows thing ?

Thanks,
Todd

America Online installs its own connection settings that override
the ones that come with Windows XP. America Online's
connection settings don't include a way to turn on Windows XP's
built-in firewall.

Visit the following web site for instructions on downloading
a FREE third-party firewall program for your computer.
