XP Internet Explerer 7 Password Problem

Hi Everyone,

I have a web private site that I have accessed from my laptop for the past
18 months. It is password protected, but since Explorer remembers it on my
laptop I never have to type it in. I am the only person who access this
particular web site.

However, I want to access the same website from another computer in my
office and I have forgotten the original password. I thought by exporting my
links and favourites to the other machine that the password would then be on
the other machine in the same was athat it is on the laptop. But no.

Is there any way of me finding out from Explorer on my laptop what the
password is?

Thanks

J

As PABear stated, there are several passowrd recovery programs available -
some are free, some not. download.com, pcworld.com, tucows.com are a couple
of places to start. These sites also give some decent review/info on the
application.
