XP install hangs

Trying to do a clean install of XP Pro on a new hard drive and it keeps
hanging.Trying to boot with CD. Computer will install files but when it gets
to the point stating Starting Windows it hangs. Have tried numerous times
with the same result. So far have changed processor, removed all but video
card, tried new working video card same result
any help appreciated

Hi Bo,
Try to run the diagnosis Utility from the HDD drive amnfacturer and se if it
is Okay or going bad!.

think i tracked it down to a faulty memory module or socket
With only one DIMM everything worked fine. Will have to feed other two in to
verufy which is the problem
