XP (Home) - Unable to open PDF File directtly using browser

Hi ,

Previousaly, I could easily open any PDF file at any website by clicking the
PDF File Icon using IE7 or IE8 Browser.

But now it is not possible, I need to download it to the Desktop first and
open my Abode Reader to retrieve the file. May I know if there is a change in
the regulation of using IE8 for opening PDF file or it is due to some sort of
the problem in my XP Home OS or IE8 Browser? How should I overcome this
problem ?
