For Task Manager,
When trying to End Process on certain things...
Most of the time it works great, and the process ends like it should.. but..
there are certain things that seem "immune" to End Process, and I can't
remember what to do next (if there is a next step, that doesn't involve
Rebooting or Logging Off)
Basically, to use an example.. it's not unheard of for there to be 2 to 3
instances of AcroRD32.exe without the program even being open, and with no
PDF's open (to include no PDF's open in web browsers).
There are other programs that are like that too, and the instances that show
as running, but not in the Application list for Task Manager...
Is there any way to end these "immune" processes, other than restarting the
computer or doing a Log Off? It's quite annoying when you need to completely
restart a process, and old "ghost" instances remain persistent.
