XP Home Reinstallation Problem

I reinstalled XP Home on my old Dell Inspiron because I was getting
the ugly blue screen of death which I wasn't able to fix. I selected
new install over the old installation. Everything is working great
now, however, when I boot up it asks which operating system I want to
use: "Windows XP Home", or "Windows XP Home". What do I gotta do to
get rid of this message? If I select the first one, it continues and
boots up just fine; if I select the second it says it can't find the
operating system. What did I do wrong in the installation process and
what, if anything, can I do to get rid of the message?
Thanks

Go to Start > Run > msconfig
boot.ini tab
and click on 'check all paths.'

Hope this helps.
