Ok here's my problem-last week i brought a new IDE hard drive for my sons PC and installed XP home with SP2 no problems(i formatted it first). But a ATI graphics driver b*ggered up and has caused me to have to reinstall windows.
Now it seems very slow going through the initial loading if files and it takes an age for the agreement screen to come up. Then when i press F8 it just hangs on the 'searching for previous versions' screen.
It is also a new DVD rom and a brand new XP disk.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
