formatted my hdd. reinstalled win xp still doesn't work
plz help. All my license are expired after trying to

started after sasser.it' does not work in safe mode either
Assuming this is a virus/trojan problem, since you've already
reformatted, either your reformat procedure isn't cleaning your
harddrive, or you're doing something to reinfect it.
Make sure your CD copy of Windows XP is not contaminated. Scan it,
unless it is a genuine Microsoft copy -- wouldn't hurt to scan it
if it *is* genuine MS, anyway.
Try writing zeros to your drive using the utility floppy that
comes with harddrives (or can be downloaded from the harddrive
sites). That will insure that the drive is clean to start with.
If your XP CD is clean, and your harddrive is clean, any problems
either have some other cause such as hardware, or are caused by
the reintroduction of a virus after installation. You don't try
connecting to the Internet as soon as you install XP, do you? You
might be getting re-zapped with the same virus within seconds of
connecting.
Reinstall *off* the internet, disable the evil functions of
Internet Explorer, such as Active-X, Java, JavaScript, Frames,
Active Scripting. Then, *never* use Internet Explorer again. Turn
off as many services as you can turn off:

Download on another computer: Mozilla for your browser, AdAware to
check for adware, SpyWare Search and Destroy to remove spyware,
AVG to install and run as your antivirus software, and ZoneAlarm
as your firewall, which should be set to run at boot. Install all
these programs. Set AVG to scan in the background continuously for
viruses. Set ZoneAlarm to block everything except what you
absolutely *need* in order to get on the Internet at all. Only
then go on-line, using Mozilla.
And *never* use Internet Explorer for anything, other than Windows
Update, which brain-dead Microsoft has created in such a way that
you must use IE to access it. Nice going, Microsoft, for
needlessly insuring that your customers will get infected trying
to security update their computers.
