XP home, activation

I installed XP Home edition 30 days ago. Every time I
logged in, it prompted me to activate my software. I
said "Yes" to activate the software, and another screen
came up that said "Your windows software is already
activated."

Well, now it says that I must activate my software, but
when I say yes, it logs me off. I tried going into safe
mode, but it won't permit me to activate in safe mode.

Any ideas?

Try activating by phone. You should have that option when you see the
activation screen.
