XP Hibernate fix setup error KB909095

I've got a Dell Inspiron 6400 with (silly me) 2GB of RAM. I recently had
to do a repair install of XP Pro SP2, but the KB909095 hibernate fix for
computers with more than 1GB of RAM is failing during setup. During the
setup process, I get the error "Failed to migrate dependent packages".
Before the XP repair install, I was able to apply the KB909095 hibernate fix
without difficulty. Is there a way to manually unpack and apply this fix?

Problem fixed. I noted near the end of c:\windows\KB909095.log the
following:

41.969: MigrateHotfix: Migrating hotfix KB931784
41.985: Rename failed. Destination path c:\windows\$NtUninstallKB931784_0$
exists.
41.985: MigrateHotfixes: Migration of KB931784 failed
41.985: DoInstallation: Migration failed
42.235: Failed to migrate dependent packages.
44.266: Message displayed to the user: Failed to migrate dependent packages.

I then renamed the hidden folder c:\windows\$NtUninstallKB931784_0$ to
something else.
Ran the KB909095 setup again, and it succeeded.
Machine successfully hibernates now.
