XP forgets Network settings everytime the system reboots

I've got a machine I built for a family member, but it has one small problem.

It forgets network settings everytime it is rebooted. It's not a big problem. All I have to is run the network wizard and its back online but if anyone has any information about fixing this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

System:
Athlon XP 1700+
ECS K7S5A with onboard SIS 900 network card (probably the culprit)
128MB ram
Windows XP Home SP1A

I have a problem something like this as well but not as severe. Try just
disabling the connection and re-enable it to see if you reconnect. This
works for me. As for the reason for this happening - I havne't been able to
figure it out either. A few people have suggested that it's my card but the
card is new and worked fine with W2K. It was only when I upgraded to XP
that I started having the problem.
