XP 'Favorites' folder has a problem

I use a Dell Precision M90, Windows XP Professional SP3

My XP 'Favorites' folder has a problem, when I click on a Favourite Link to
a Website it opens my Print-Window, as do any auto-links not in my
'Favorites' folder.

Is there a Registry fix or <ini> type file that controls the pointing
instructions, for help, thank you?

Hi David F. Sage,

Please run the following command in a Command Window (Start > Programs
Accessories > Command Prompt)

reg delete HKCR\InternetShortcut\shell /ve

You may need to reboot your computer for the changes to apply. Good
Luck.

Hi William, I appreciate your help.

I ran the Command, followed by a cold reboot.

Unfortunatly, the problem persists and I would welcome your continued
assistance.

For this, thank you.

Regards David.
