I have an windows 2000 server that run internal DNS and
Exchange 2000
My internet ISP give me 2 DNS address
I am using static ip config on my XP prof
I put my internal IP address, subnet and default gateway
on my XP ip properties
the preffer DNs is my internal DNS
Alternate DNS is ISP DNS
3Rd DNS is ISP DNS

I can connected to my Exchange server using OUTLOOK but
not the internet

If I switch my ISP DNS to the preffer(first) DNS then I
can connect to the INTERNET and
my OUTLOOK can not connect to my Exchange server

This Config is work on windows 2000

thanks

You should only use your local DNS on all machine's TCP/IP properties never
use your ISP's DNS anywhere but as a forwarder configure your DNS server as
per this KB article: 300202 - HOW TO Configure DNS for Internet Access in
Windows 2000
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;300202&FR=1
